CH Marcy's Lightning Strikes Iron, CD, CGC, TDI

Marcy is the first Mastiff we acquired, and very much the reason that we decided to raise this wonderful breed of dogs. She emulates the Mastiff standard in temperament - having that special combination of grandeur and good nature, along with courage, dignity, and gentleness. She earned the right to be the namesake of our kennel - Marcy Mountain Mastiffs.

Marcy, born in April 1999, finished her AKC Championship at a young 16 months, and her AKC Companion Dog Obedience title at 18 months. Marcy was also shown actively by Erika as her Junior Handling dog to many wins in the very competitive Junior Handling ring.

Marcy also passed her Canine Good Citizen (CGC) and Therapy Dog International (TDI) tests, and worked for a while as a Therapy Dog.

Marcy had her first litter of 4 girls on June 20, 2002.
